Key takeaways

  • Framer has four main plans: Free ($0), Basic ($10/month), Pro ($30/month), and Enterprise (custom pricing), based on yearly billing.

  • Choose based on how the site will run: CMS, publishing workflow, team access, traffic, and future growth matter more than page count alone.

  • Add-ons can materially change the monthly cost: extra editors, locales, AI credits, Convert, and Advanced Hosting are separate from the base plan.

  • Pro is often the practical fit for active B2B marketing websites: especially when you need more CMS capacity, redirects, staging, or branching.

  • Platform cost is only one part of the budget: design, development, migration, integrations, training, and support sit on top of Framer pricing.

If you are considering Framer for your B2B website, platform pricing is usually one of the easier costs to estimate.

Your overall website budget has two parts: what Framer costs to run and what it costs to design, build, migrate, and maintain the website. We cover the second part in our guide to Framer development project costs.

This article covers the platform cost.

Pricing note: Framer changed its billing and plan structure in 2026. The information below reflects current pricing as of September 2026. Existing legacy subscriptions may have different pricing or limits. Framer introduced its new billing system in May 2026.

Framer Plans and Pricing at a Glance

Framer currently has Free, Basic, Pro, and Enterprise options. For a commercial B2B website, the common decision is usually between Basic and Pro, while Enterprise is aimed at organisations with larger security, scale, or procurement requirements.

Free

Free is useful for evaluating Framer, prototyping, or developing a site before launch.

To connect your own domain and publish a commercial website without Framer branding “made with Framer” floating badge, you will need a paid Site plan.

Basic

Basic can work well for a relatively simple marketing website.

The main limitation for B2B teams is often the two CMS collection limit. A blog and case studies would already use both.

Adding resources, industries, careers, events, or another structured content type may push you toward Pro. Basic currently includes 30 pages, 1,000 CMS items, and 50 GB of monthly bandwidth.

Pro

For the B2B websites we typically work on, Pro is usually the starting point.

It gives teams more room for pages and CMS, while adding features that become useful as the website gets more active:

Redirects: Useful for migrations, URL changes, SEO cleanup, and campaign page updates.

Branching: Helpful when several people are making changes or when larger updates need review before merging.

Staging: Useful for testing launches, integrations, forms, and major page changes before they reach the live site.

Higher page and CMS limits: Important for teams publishing case studies, resources, industries, careers, and ongoing campaign pages.

More bandwidth headroom: Useful for companies running paid campaigns, product launches, or other traffic spikes.

Pro can also grow beyond its base limits. Framer allows additional pages, CMS collections, CMS items, bandwidth, and other capabilities to be added before Enterprise becomes necessary.

We’ll cover those add ons and team costs in the next section, including extra editors, additional locales, AI credits, and other optional features.

Enterprise

Enterprise is generally driven by organisational requirements rather than simply having more pages.

It includes custom limits, unlimited editors, SSO, SCIM, enterprise security, uptime guarantees, and dedicated support. Pricing is custom.

Don't Forget Framer Add-ons and Team Costs

The Site plan is only part of the Framer price. Your team setup and optional features can add to the monthly cost.

Editors

The workspace owner is included. Additional Full Editors are $20/month, while Content Editors are $10/month. Viewers are free.

Full Editors can design, edit content, and publish. Content Editors are intended for teammates working mainly with CMS content, localisation, and on-page editing.

For marketing teams, that distinction matters: someone publishing case studies does not necessarily need the same access as the person designing new landing pages.

Localisation

Additional translation locales currently cost $20 per locale per month, with up to 20 locales available on Basic and Pro.

Translations can be added manually or generated with Framer's AI translation tools. AI translations consume AI credits, while manual translations do not.

AI Credits

Framer's AI features use a credit system shared across the workspace.

Basic currently includes 1,000 credits per month and Pro includes 3,000. Credits are used by features such as Framer Agents, Workshop chat, and AI translation. Additional credits can be purchased when needed.

If you run out, the AI features that consume credits pause. Your website itself continues running normally.

For most marketing teams, we would treat AI credits as an optional productivity cost rather than part of the essential hosting budget.

Other Add-ons

Add-on

Price

When it may be useful

Translation locales

$20 / locale / month

Multilingual websites

Convert

$50 / 500,000 events

A/B testing, funnels, and conversion experiments

Advanced Hosting

$200 / month

Multi-site setups, rewrites, and custom headers under one domain

Framer currently lists those prices for Pro, with Convert priced per 500,000 events and Advanced Hosting supporting up to six rewrites.

Then keep just a short explanation below the table:

Convert: Useful for teams running A/B tests or funnels. If you are deciding how Framer’s native analytics fits into your measurement setup, see our Framer Analytics guide.

Advanced Hosting: Useful for more specialised routing or hosting requirements. For example, if you want to serve an app or documentation alongside Framer under the same domain, such as example.com/app, Framer’s Multi Site rewrites can support that setup. Max 6 rewrites.

How to Choose the Right Framer Plan

Before comparing plans, make sure Framer itself is the right fit for your website. We cover that decision separately in Is Framer the Right Platform for Your B2B Website?.

Once you are comfortable with Framer, choose the plan based on how your team will actually operate the site.

Check four things:

  • CMS: How many content types will you need now and over the next year?

  • Publishing: Do you need staging, branching, or redirects?

  • Team: Who needs full editing access versus content-only access?

  • Scale: Are pages, CMS items, or traffic likely to approach the plan limits?

For a small brochure-style website, Basic may be enough.

For an established B2B marketing website with resources, case studies, campaigns, and regular updates, we would usually lean toward Pro.

Framer Pricing FAQs

What happens if I run out of AI credits?

AI features that consume credits pause when the workspace reaches its allowance. You can wait for credits to renew or purchase additional credits. Your published website remains unaffected.

What happens if my Framer website exceeds its plan limits?

It depends on the limit. Framer says you do not need to manually monitor bandwidth; it will notify you as the site approaches or exceeds relevant limits so you can upgrade if needed.

What happens if we exceed our form submission limit?

Framer says it monitors these usage limits and will notify you when an upgrade is needed. You generally do not need to track form submission usage manually.

Can I upgrade my Framer plan halfway through a billing cycle?

Yes. If you upgrade during an active billing period, Framer applies credit for the unused portion of your existing plan and charges the adjusted difference for the higher-tier plan.

Can I downgrade my Framer plan mid-cycle?

Yes. Framer allows standard Site plans to be downgraded during an active billing period. The unused value of the previous plan is converted into non-refundable account credit and applied to future invoices.

What happens if I cancel?

Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. Cancellation does not automatically refund unused time.

Should a B2B website use Basic or Pro?

Basic can be enough for a smaller site with limited CMS requirements.

For teams that regularly publish content, manage campaigns, use multiple CMS collections, or want staging, branching, and redirects, Pro is usually the more practical choice.

Understanding the Full Cost of a Framer Website

The Framer subscription itself is usually a relatively small part of the overall website investment.

The larger cost is planning, designing, building, migrating, integrating, and maintaining the website.

Once you know which Framer plan makes sense, our guide to what a Framer development project should cost covers the other half of the budget.
